Grain export 2019/20: corn deliveries crossed 7 mln t

Since the start of 2019/20, Ukraine has exported 24.39 mln t of staple grains. As of November 29th, commodities shipment increased by 6.39 mln t (35.5%) from the comparative period of the previous year, the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports.
The grain export structure in the reporting period is as follows:
- wheat — 13.29 mln t (4.16 mln t more y-o-y);
- barley — 3.49 mln t (471 thou. t more y-o-y);
- corn — 7.31 mln t (1.81 mln t more y-o-y);
- rye — 5 thou. t (61.1 thou. t less y-o-y).
As of November 27th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 15 mln ha or 98% of the total. The crop reached 74.3 mln t using the average yield of 4.93 t/ha (2018: 4.7 t/ha).
