ViOil facility listed among the key oilseeds processors in Ukraine

Vinnytsya Oil and Fat Plant, a structural division of the ViOil Industrial Group, is listed in the TOP 3 largest oil and fat enterprises in Ukraine.

Under the Ukroilprom Association's data, the facility's share in Ukraine's unrefined sunflower oil production totals 5%.

"The world's population is growing, so the world needs more and more food. We will continue increasing the production and export of sunflower oil. Asian markets are the most promising. The economies of many countries in the region are growing rapidly, living standards are improving, and nutrition patterns are changing with the Asian population shifting to healthier food. Our products are in demand in India and China, as well as in Malaysia, the UAE and Jordan," said Dmitriy Chalenko, Chairman of the Board of Vinnytsya Oil and Fat Plant.

At the same time, the company is expanding its global presence, he said. ViOil products are already being sold in Japan, South Korea and, since last year, in Australia. The company is also interested in the markets of North and South America.

In the first two months of 2019/20, ViOil processing plants produced 40 thou. t of rapeseed oil thus ensuring the company more than a third of the market. In 2018/19, the company is the leader of rapeseed oil production in Ukraine with 33 thou. t produced at Vinnytsya and Chernitsi oil and far plants.
