Wages in Ukrainian agribusiness: highest yielding regions in 3Q 2019

In 3Q 2019, agriproducers of Ivano-Frankivsk region earned an average of UAH 12.767 thou., 22.6% higher from the prior year's comparative period.

The State Statistics Service of Ukraine reports that the highest wages in the reporting period were paid in the following regions:

• Ivano-Frankivsk — 12.767 thou., +22.6%;
• Ternopil — UAH 12.345 thou., +37.3%;
• Lviv — UAH 11.128 thou., +18.2;
• Vinnytsya — UAH 10.768 thou., +30.7%;
• Luhansk — UAH 10.653 thou., +39.6%.

In January-August 2019, the average monthly salary in the agricultural sector of Ukraine increased by 23% from the comparative period in 2018 and amounted to UAH 8.430.
