Coronavirus spread pressed Black Sea grain prices down

Further spread of coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and reduced import demand triggered a decline in grain export quotations in the Black Sea region last week, Refinitiv Agriculture reports.

"However, exporters rely on demand reviving and quotations strengthening," experts note.

As reported, Ukrainian exporters started offering wheat for export more actively. According to market operators, a number of companies have wheat stocks that they expect to sell at a better price in the second half of the season.
