Two elevator complexes construction planned in Sumy region

Two grain elevators will be constructed in Sumy region to expand the network of grain infrastructure facilities, and to introduce the latest technologies for receiving, treatment and storage of grain.

As reported by the Department of the Agro-Industrial Development of Sumy State Regional Administration, the construction works will be done by the private commercial enterprise STS (Konotop district) and Krolevets Feed Mill (Krolevets district).

STS plans to build a 100 thou. t elevator complex, and Krolevets Feed Mill — a 60 thou. t storage facility.

The Department informs that in January 2020, UAH 59 mln of investments were attracted for the development of the agricultural sector and rural areas of Sumy region, which is almost at the level of the corresponding period of the previous year. At the same time, the principal amount of investments was directed to the development of agro-industrial complex infrastructure — UAH 52.5 mln.

Earlier it was reported that the company Nyva Bila planned to construct a 40 thou. t grain elevator in Ternopil region.
