ViOil's share of rapeseed oil market made up 24 pct

Vinnytsya Oil and Fat Plant and Chernivtsi OFP, structural divisions of the industrial group ViOil, together held a 24.3% share of the rapeseed oil market in Ukraine in the year 2019.

ViOil's enterprises produced 35.1 thou. t of rapeseed oil in the reporting period.

As noted by the company, the product is shipped for export.

"We exported rapeseed oil to the European Union and China. The Chinese market has particularly wide prospects for these products. The potential of Chinese import is estimated at 2 mln t per season. And its price is higher than that of sunflower oil," stated Igor Gadomsky, Commercial Director of the industrial group ViOil.

Previously reported that the total rapeseed oil production in 2019 made up 144.4 thou. t. ViOil's processing facilities are listed among the key producers.
