Export of flour upsized by one-third so far 2019/20

Since the start of 2019/20, flour export shipment from Ukraine has reached 276.4 thou. t, 65.6 thou. t (31%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator.
The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Apr. 3 exports reached the following indicators:
- wheat flour — 274 thou. t (up 65 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
- other types of flour — 1.6 thou. t (up 0.6 thou. t).
Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.
By 2025 the volume of world flour consumption may increase by about 20 mln t compared to the current level and reach apx. 400 mln t.
Export of grain from Ukraine has increased by 21% YoY since the start of 2019/20.
