Corn trade came to USD 2.45 bln in Jan-Apr

In the period of January-April 2020, Ukraine's corn export totalled 14.62 mln t for the amount of USD 2.45 bln.
The key importers in the period under the data of the State Customs Service:
- China: 2.09 mln t, USD 349.44, 14.26% of the total supply;
- Egypt: 1.96 mln t, USD 329.44 mln, 13.44%;
- Spain: 1.63 mln, USD 272.65 mln, 11.12%;
- other countries: 8.94 mln t, USD 1.5 bln, 61.18%.
Forward prices for 2020 corn are falling a little more each week to appear currently at 144 $/t for October delivery.
