Agroliga finalizes spring sowing campaign

Agroliga reports about finalizing the spring crops planting campaign. The company's production branches have sown 2.6 thou. ha of sunflower and 400 ha of barley.

As reported by the company's agronomic service, winter crops are constantly monitored and are currently in excellent condition. Agroliga planted 3.26 thou. ha of winter wheat and 760 ha of winter rapeseed.

Earlier it was reported that the company's net loss reached EUR 869 thou. in Q1 2020 compared to EUR 1.03 mln of net profit in the comparative period of 2019.

In May 2019, Agroliga Group informed about its plans to sell the entire composition of the dairy herd. The company stressed that the crisis started in 2014 and continues to render a negative impact on Agroliga's livestock branch.
