Three importing countries cover 40% of Ukraine's sunflower shipment in 1H 2020

In the period of January-June 2020, sunflower export from Ukraine totalled 33.39 thou. t, the State Customs Service data show.
The value of exported commodities is estimated at USD 13.59 mln.
Key importing countries in the reporting period:
- Turkey: 7.88 thou. t, USD 3.21 mln, 23.59% of the total supply
- Georgia: 2.95 thou. t. USD 1.2 mln, 8.85%
- Germany: 2.6 thou. t, USD 1.06 mln, 7.78%
- others: 19.96 thou. t, USD 8.13 mln, 59.78%

In the current season, exports of high-oleic vegetable oil (in Sep-May) reached a record level: +55% on the corresponding period of 2018/19.
