EU brought back import duty for corn
The European Union increased import duty for corn, sorghum and rye to EUR 5.48 (USD 6.44) per ton from 12 August 2020.
The EU reimposed the import duty after it was removed on 3 July 2020 in response to a surge in corn prices on the world market.
There have been several adjustments of import duties so far in 2020: in April, May and June.
