Corn harvesting in progress in half of the regions

As of December 7, corn harvesting was in progress in twelve regions of Ukraine. The campaign covered 5.2 mln ha or 96% of the planned areas. The new crop reached 27.9 mln t using the average yield of 5.33 t/ha, the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project show.

Corn campaign was completed in Vinnytsya, Donetsk, Zakarpattya, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions.

Previously reported that agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 81.9 mln t of main crops on 24 mln ha as of December 7.
