Agroliga considers farmland purchase once the market is on

In the year 2021, the company Agroliga plans to purchase farmland, optimize/adjust the current business process.

"The land market opening was the most important event for Ukraine. It is just over six months until the launch of the land market in the country. As provided by law No. 552-IX, the moratorium on land sale will be lifted on July 1, 2021," the company says in a statement.

Among its key accomplishments in 2020, Agroliga notes the launch of a thermal power station (TPS). Its construction started in spring 2019. Within the three first month of the TPS operation, it reached the designed performance indicators.

"Operation of our oilseeds crushing plant at full capacity has allowed us to double our revenues in 2020. We plan no reduction, even at a time of high prices for raw materials," the company's specialists stated.

Agroliga posted a net profit for 1H 2020 at EUR 1.215 mln, 20% lower YoY (1H 2019: EUR 1.52 mln). The company's net profit in Jan-Sep 2020 stood at EUR 3.19 mln, 17.3% higher YoY (Jan-Sep 2019: EUR 2.72 mln).
