Wage arrears in agriculture reached UAH 64.9 mln by Apr 1

In Ukraine, the average nominal wages in March 2021 in agriculture, forestry and fisheries was UAH 10,685, 12% higher YoY. The average wages in agriculture was UAH 10,058, AgroRobota.com.ua reports.
As of April 1, 2021, wage arrears to agricultural workers amounted to UAH 64.945 mln.
The average nominal wage of a full-time employee of enterprises, institutions and organisations in the reporting period was UAH 13,612.
"Now this indicator is 2.3x higher than the minimum wage (UAH 6,000). Compared to February, the average nominal wage has increased by 8.5%, by 18.9% YoY," the message reads.
The highest average nominal salary in March 2021 was paid in Kyiv city (UAH 20,132), Donetsk (UAH 15,907), Zaporizhzhya (UAH 13,721), Mykolaiv (UAH 13,462) and Kyiv (UAH 13,438) regions.
During 2010-2019, the average monthly salary in agriculture in Ukraine grew by 6x.
