Parliament considers economy minister Petrashko and infrastructure minister Krykliy resignations

At an extraordinary meeting today, the Parliament of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada) will consider the resignation of the Minister for the Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture Ihor Petrashko and the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy, MP Serhiy Labaziuk informs.

"On Tuesday at 4 p.m., we will hold an extraordinary meeting to decide on the resignation of three ministers, Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Krykliy, Economy Minister Ihor Petrashko and Health Minister Maksym Stepanov," Serhiy Labaziuk reports on his Telegram channel.

The press secretary of the parliament speaker, Olha Tuniy, confirmed information that Verkhovna Rada had received resignation letters from Igor Petrashko and Vladyslav Krykliy.

Igor Petrashko's appointment as Economy Minister was voted by the Parliament on 17 March 2020. Vladyslav Krykliy was assigned Infrastructure Minister on 29 August 2019.

On 14 May 2020, both ministers submitted their resignations.
