Verkhovna Rada voted for Igor Petrashko appointment Minister for Economy and Agriculture

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Parliament) adopted a resolution on appointment of Igor Petrashko as Minister for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, who previously held the position of Deputy CEO at Ukrlandfarming.

The resolution was supported by 243 MPs, 53 voted against, 49 withheld from the vote and 32 MPs did not vote.

Previously this position was held by Tymofiy Mylovanov, who refused from agrarian minister position in the new Cabinet of the new Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in order to let his team realize its vision of the country's economic development.
