Grain shipping by rail 28% lower in Jan-Apr

The national carrier Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) provided for the transportation of 9.3 mln t of grain and mill products in January-April, 28.5% down YoY, Elevatorist.com reports.
In the reporting period, 95.5 mln t of cargo was delivered by rail, 1.2% lower YoY.
Grain cargo accounts for 9.7% of the total shipment volume and thus holds the 4th position.
Previously reported that UZ reached an agreement with Sberbank (Ukraine) to reschedule debt repayment.
