Astarta-Kyiv starts sugar beet harvest 2022

The agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv started sugar beet harvesting in Khmilnitsky production branch on September 10.

The rest of the company's farms are expected to join the campaign soon.

Astrarta's management says it will report yield indicators after the campaign gains momentum.

In the current production season, sugar beet covers 33 thou. ha or 15% of the company's total landbank.

As per the company's information, its sugar market share in Ukraine in 2021 totalled 22%.
