Since August Ukraine exports of agri-food products total over 3 mln t: Infrastructure Ministry

Since the implementation of the Grain Export Initiative in early August, Ukraine has exported 3.1 mln t of agri-food products, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports.

"In 1.5 months of the working 'grain corridor' from the ports of Big Odesa, agri-food exports total 3.1 mln t," the message reads.

134 foreign vessels have departed the Ukrainian seaports for the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.

On the morning of September 14, five vessels bound for Asia and Europe sailed off the port of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. The vessels were loaded with 153 thou. t of ag commodities.

Since the start of 2022/23, staple grains export from Ukraine has almost halved.
