Grain export 2022/23: staples shipment from Ukraine 48% down YoY

Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2022/23(1 July 2022-30 June 2023) season has come to 5.291 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of September 9 dropped by 4.99 mln t, 48% down YoY.
Ukraine's grain export at the reporting date by crops (thou. t):

Maritime ports of Ukraine were blocked by russia since February 24, 2022, the day this country started a full-scale war against Ukraine, until on 22 July a grain deal was signed in Turkey.

As of September 8, grains harvesting in Ukraine was completed on 6.7 mln ha (60% of the proj. areas).
Producers collected 25.9 mln t of new crop grain:
- wheat: 19.2 mln t, 4.1 t/ha
- barley: 5.5 mln t, 3.47 t/ha
- rapeseed: 3.1 mln t, 2.85 t/ha
- peas: 250.2 thou. t, 2.29 t/ha
- millet: 42.2 thou. t, 2.56 t/ha
- sunflower: 392 thou. t, 1.56 t/ha
- corn: 18.4 thou, t, 4.72 t/ha
