russia demands ammonia export via Ukraine to extend grain deal

The terrorist state russia counts on its ammonia export resumption through Ukraine's territory. kremlin seeks to export russian ammonia via the same corridor that Ukrainian grain is delivered to foreign markets under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, EPravda reports.

The negotiators are convinced that the parties will agree to extend the grain deal until it expires on Saturday, November 19.

As reported, Russia will be granted easing for Rosselkhozbank to make payments for its agricultural exports and resume the operation of the ammonia pipeline "Togliatti-Odesa".

Negotiations on the extension of the agreement are ongoing with the UN, and this process included bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the G20 in Bali.

Under the revised agreement, russia will be able to exploit the same maritime corridor through which Ukrainian agri-food commodities have been exported since August for its own ammonia exports.

moscow has also demanded that the U.S. and EU lift sanctions that cut off the russian state-owned bank Rosselkhozbank from SWIFT. It is likely that the U.S. in return will help to ensure correspondent relations for the russian lender in U.S. banks without lifting the imposed sanctions.
