Government extends Ust-Dunaisk port water area to load Panamaxes on roadstead
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to extend the water area of the Ust-Dunaisk sea port, Permanent Envoy of the Cabinet to the Parliament Taras Melnychuk informed in Telegram.
"Amendments have been made to the Annex "Boundaries of the Ust-Dunaisk Seaport" to the CMU Resolution No. 1274 of October 07, 2009 "On the Boundaries of the Ust-Dunaisk Seaport" to increase the volume of cargo handling by seaports in the Danube region during the period of martial law in Ukraine," the statement reads.
For the period of martial law and within three months from the date of its termination or cancellation, the new geographical coordinates of the location of anchorages near the Bystre mouth have been added. This is necessary to organize the transhipment of grain cargoes from the seaports of Ust-Dunaysk and Izmail to Panamax vessels on the roadstead.
