Grains export from Ukraine in early 2024/25 surge 67% YoY

Since the start of the 2024/25(1 July 2024-30 June 2025) MY, grains export from Ukraine has come to 6 million tons. As of August 21, staples shipment is 67% up YoY (2023/24: 3.6 million tons), the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
The increase is driven by the stable shipment in the Ukrainian corridor to the ports of Big Odesa. Since September 2023, over 43.5 million tons of agri-food commodities have been delivered to 45 countries.

USDA in its August report projects wheat export from Ukraine at 14 million tons, corn — at 24 million tons.
