MHP accounts for over half of Ukraine’s poultry market. TOP 10 producers by Forbes Ukraine

MHP remains the largest player in Ukraine’s poultry sector, holding 53% of the market, according to Forbes Ukraine. In 2024, the company reported USD 3.05 billion in revenue (up 0.8%) and $144 million in profit.

Other key producers include:

  1. Dniprovsky Poultry Complex, Serhiy Ryazanov — 5.7% market share. 2024 revenue totalled UAH 5.8 billion (+8% Y-o-Y). Brands: Znatna Kurka, Ulas (export).
  2. Agro-Oven, Viktor Zavorotnyi — 5.4%. Three poultry farms, 6 million birds, revenue:  UAH 1 billion (+3%). Brands: Zolotko, Farria (export).
  3. Avesterra Group, Volodymyr Poultry Farm — 3.7%. The company is going through a corporate conflict, but at the same time is expanding its capacity by €60 million, which will double production to 120,000 tons per year. Exports account for 4% of production, and the target is to enter the EU market.
  4. Gubin Poultry Complex (APG Pan Kurchak) — 52% increase in revenue, up to UAH 1.5 billion. Production of chicken, pork, branded trade.
  5. Ular (Oleg Pup) — nearly 3% of the market, 25 million chickens per year, revenue: UAH 3.6 billion (+31%). Products are sold at ATB, Auchan, Silpo, and under the As tasty as mum's brand («Смачно, як у мами»).
  6. Agro-Ros (Anatoliy Semynoh) — 1.1% of the market, revenue: UAH 1.2 billion (-7%), TM Zolote Kurcha, also produces pork, beef and turkey.
  7. Snyatynska Poultry Farm (Fozzy Group) — 0.99% of the market, over 70 poultry houses, revenue: UAH 682 million (-1%). Brand: Snyatynska Poultry, sold at Silpo and Fora.
  8. K Agropivden Trade (Kuriyar) — 0.67% of the market.
  9. Podilsky Broiler — approximately 0.35% of the market, revenue: UAH 238 million (+2%), nearly 5,000 tons of production annually.
