Ukraine’s oilseed output seen at 22.6 mln t in 2025/26 — Ukroilprom

In the 2025/26 season, total production of key oilseed crops in Ukraine may reach 22.6 million tons, according to Stepan Kapshuk, Director General of the Ukroilprom Association, cited by APK-Inform.

Sunflower seed will account for the largest share — 13.1 million tons. Rapeseed production is expected to reach 3.3 million tons, while soybeans may total 6.2 million tons.

Oilseed processing in the new season is projected at 17.7 million tons, including:

• Sunflower seed: 13 million tons

• Soybeans: 3.1 million tons

• Rapeseed: 1.6 million tons

According to the association, oilseed exports are estimated at 4.9 million tons, including:

• Soybeans: 3 million tons

• Rapeseed: up to 1.7 million tons

• Sunflower seed: around 200,000 tons

“As for vegetable oil production, we expect it to total about 7.1 million tons in 2025/26,” Kapshuk added.

This will include:

• Sunflower oil: 5.8 million tons

• Rapeseed oil: 680,000 tons

• Soybean oil: 620,000 tons
