Turkey, Spain and Egypt were top importers of Ukrainian grain in 2024/25 — UGA

Turkey, Spain, and Egypt were the largest importers of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds in the 2024/2025 marketing year, according to data from the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA).

Turkey topped the list with 6.645 million tons of imports. Spain ranked second with 6.243 million tons, followed by Egypt with 4.573 million tons.

The top five importers also included:

  • Italy — 3.917 million tons

  • Netherlands — 3.307 million tons

Other major importers in the top ten were:

  • Algeria — 2.056 million tons

  • Germany — 1.706 million tons

  • Indonesia — 1.588 million tons

  • Belgium — 1.469 million tons

  • Tunisia — 1.253 million tons

Vietnam, Lebanon, Libya, Bangladesh, and China also made the top 15, each importing over 900,000 tons of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds.
