Bunge seeks Antimonopoly Committee’s approval to acquire Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Plant ViOil

Bunge has submitted a request to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) for approval to acquire the Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Plant owned by ViOil. The request is included in the draft agenda of the AMCU meeting scheduled for October 2.

According to the filing dated August 21, 2025 (No. 15-01/609-ЕКк), Koninklijke Bunge B.V. (Rotterdam, the Netherlands) is seeking approval to gain control over ELTORNE LIMITED (Paphos, Cyprus) through the purchase of shares, which would secure more than 50% of the voting rights in the company’s governing body.

ELTORNE LIMITED is owned by Viktor Ponomarchuk, who is also the ultimate beneficiary of the Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Plant and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ViOil.
