ADM to sell its last grain storage in Ukraine

ADM is selling its last grain storage in Ukraine, according to the draft agenda of an Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) meeting scheduled for April 23.

A request for permission to acquire control over the elevator was submitted by OLIMP, a company ranked among the TOP 100 largest farmland operators in Ukraine, cultivating 37,000 hectares in Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions.

Market sources told Latifundist.com that the asset for sale is ADM’s Kamianskyi elevator in Cherkasy region, with a storage capacity of 64,000 tons in metal silos and flat storage facilities.

Thus, once AMCU approval is granted, the company will no longer have any assets directly designated for grain storage. Another elevator, Tavriiskyi in Kherson region, was destroyed after Russia's attacks.
