Ukroilprom estimates Ukraine’s sunflower, soybean and rapeseed stocks at start of August
As of Aug. 1, 2026, Ukraine had 947,000 tons of sunflower seeds, 560,000 tons of soybeans and 205,000 tons of rapeseed in stocks, according to Ukrainian oilseed processors’ association Ukroilprom.
The largest stocks were recorded for sunflower seeds, at 947,000 tons. From September through June, 9.66 million tons of sunflower seeds were processed on the domestic market, while seed exports totalled just 39,000 tons.
Ukroilprom estimated soybean stocks at the beginning of August at 560,000 tons. Total soybean resources during the season amounted to 5.379 million tons, of which 2.65 million tons were processed in Ukraine, and 2.169 million tons were exported.
Rapeseed carryover stocks were estimated at 205,000 tons. From July through June, rapeseed resources totalled 3.446 million tons, while domestic processing reached 1.34 million tons and seed exports stood at 1.901 million tons.
Ukroilprom also said that Ukrainian processors handled an estimated 64,000 tons of rapeseed in July alone, producing 27,000 tons of rapeseed oil. Another about 20,000 tons of rapeseed were exported.
