Information on the dredging works conduct on 1-4 November is inaccurate — NIBULON

The statement made by Vladimir Klimenko, the deputy CEO of the company NIBULON for interaction with authorities, about the company carrying out dredging works on the limiting passes of the Dnieper and Dneprodzerzhinsk reservoirs in the period from November 1 to 4, 2017 is premature and inaccurate.

This is informed by the press service of the company.

The company notes that only after receiving updated permits NIBULON will perform experimental dredging on the Dnieper.

"During the period of 2012-2015, we received all the necessary permits, which are still valid. But, due to certain changes in the legislation, and in order not to give reasons for ill-wishers for their own PR and discredit our company, we decided to update the documents on our own initiative," the press service informs.

It is noted that a self-propelled dredging vessel of the SDS-15 project was built at the NIBULON shipbuilding and shiprepairing yard. The vessel has already undergone sea trials, put into operation and is ready for work. The capacities of this unique for Ukraine and universal vessel will make it possible to deepen both the Dnieper and the Southern Bug rivers.
