Dredging ship Breughel arrived at Yuzhny

Owned by Novadeal LTD (a subsidiary of the group of companies DEME Group, Belgium) hopper dredger vessel Breughel arrived in the waters of the Yuzhny seaport on November 2 to perform the operational dredging, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration (USPA) reports.

"USPA welcomes the arrival of the dredging fleet of Novadeal LTD in the port of Yuzhny. Mobilization of ships was carried out in advance, which confirms the responsibility and reliability of our partner. We hope that the advanced European experience of Novadeal LTD will be realized in high quality and speed of work execution," Raivis Veckagans, the acting CEO of USPA, noted.

The work on dredging is planned to continue until the end of November this year.

"The contract with the Belgian company Novadeal LTD was the third project aimed at increasing the port's capacity and the promotion of its investment attractiveness," Maxim Shirokov, the Head of the Administration of the port Yuzhny, said.

Reference: on June 20, 2017 USPA, represented by the Administration of the seaport Yuzhny, signed the agreement with the company Novadeal LTD to conduct operational dredging of the internal waters and the internal approach channel of Yuzhny.
