Ukraine exported 1.7 million tons of rapeseed in 4 months of MY 2017/18

For the first four months of MY 2017/18, Ukraine exported 1.7 million tons of rapeseed.

APK-Inform reports that in October 2017, Ukraine supplied to the foreign markets about 340 thousand tons of rapeseed, which is 2.5 times higher than for the same period a year earlier.

"The supply of oilseeds to foreign markets in September reached a record value of 700 thousand tons, which is 36% higher than the exported volume in August 2017 and 2 times more than in September 2016," the report says.

Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine in 2017 the production of rapeseed, according to Academician Yuri Lupenko, is projected to double (by 91.9%) and should amount to 2.21 million tons.
