NIBULON increases the capacity of transshipment terminal in Nikolaev

The company NIBULON is building a complex for the transshipment of grains and oilseeds with a capacity of about 43 thousand tons. The construction is carried out on the territory of the transshipment terminal in Nikolaev.

The press service informs that the company received the permission to start construction works in late October.

"Now the enterprise is preparing a site for construction, planning the territory and driving piles. A total of 6 containers will be built, 7.2 thousand tons each. Thus, upon the construction completion, the total capacity of grain storage facilities located on the territory of the reloading terminal will be 173 thousand tons. The completion of the new complex is planned in early February 2018," the report says.

The construction is supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Previously it was reported that IFC provides financing of up to USD 100 million to NIBULON to help strengthen the infrastructure associated with the agricultural sector, reduce crop losses and improve global food security.
