In H1 FY 2018 Kernel increased sales of sunflower oil in bulk by 29%

In H1 FY 2018 Kernel increased sunflower oil sales in bulk by 29,4% to 657,944 thousand tons.

According to the company's report, volumes of sunflower oil sold in bulk declined 22% y-o-y to 265,128 thousand tons in Q2 FY 2018.

"Notwithstanding the 100% utilization of our crushing plants, volumes of sunflower oil sold in bulk declined 22%. As a result, we built up a sizable stock of sunflower oil over the reporting period, which will be shipped in Q3 FY2018," the report states.

Sales of bottled sunflower oil increased 3.6% in H1 FY 2018 and amounted to 59,640 thousand liters, while in Q2 FY 2018 sales decreased 25,5% to 27,000 thousand tons.

Reference: the company directly controlled by Andrey Verevskiy, chairman of the Board of Directors of Kernel, increased its stake in the company to 39,47%.
