Shpola-Agro Industry company divested of its agricultural assets in Ukraine.

This was informed to Latifundist.com by sources in the market, who wished to remain anonymous.

According to the information received, Shpola-Agro Industry closed the deal to sell its assets about a month ago and plans to switch only to the distribution of seeds and plant protection products (PPP). The buyer of the assets of this agroholding was not specified.

At the same time, on March 23, 2018, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) authorized WIDELINE BUSINESS LIMITED to acquire a stake in the authorized capital of Shpola-Agro Industry, which exceeds 50% of the votes in the company's supreme management body. It is indicated that the buyer is registered in Belize.

On information in the rating TOP 100 Latifundists of Ukraine, Shpola-Agro Industry cultivated about 15 thou. ha of land in Cherkasy and Kirovograd regions. The primary beneficiary is Frédéric Chavigny.

The press service of Shpola-Agro Industry did not comment on this information, referring to the current preparation of the press release, which will soon be posted on the company's official website.
