LNZ Group to acquire assets of Shpola-Agro Industry

The agricultural assets of Shpola-Agro Industry in Ukraine were acquired by LNZ Group.

This information was confirmed to Latifundist.com by several sources in the market close to the negotiating process. According to them, the deal is at the final stage.

"The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine authorized the purchase, now they are negotiating the close price," said one of the insiders.

The matter of negotiation are agricultural assets with a land bank of about 10 thou. ha.

According to the rating Top 100 Latifundists of Ukraine, the land bank of LNZ Group previously amounted to 60 thou. ha. In case of acquisition of the assets of Shpola-Agro Industry, it can grow to 70 thou. ha, which will allow LNZ Group to approach the first 20 of the largest latifundists of the country.

Previously it was reported that Shpola-Agro Industry company divested of its agricultural assets in Ukraine. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) authorized WIDELINE BUSINESS LIMITED (registered in Belize) to acquire a stake in the authorized capital of Shpola-Agro Industry. According to the information from stock exchanges, WIDELINE BUSINESS LIMITED is a trading partner of a number of structural divisions of LNZ Group.
