UkrLandFarming is 90% resourced for the start of the sowing campaign 2018.

"We allocated USD 100 million for sowing campaign. This year, we will sow 505 thou. hectares," said Oleg Bakhmatyuk.

At the same time, the founder of UkrLandFarming complained that due to the increasing competition in the market, as well as the ongoing war with the National Bank of Ukraine, his company lost 70 thou. hectares of land bank.

"We also halted the construction of the terminal and two elevators. Over two years we had to dismiss 3 thou. employees. We cut the staff from 37 to 34 thou. because several business lines were shut down, one of them is sugar," said Oleg Bakhmatyuk.
