MHP leads among meat producers in 2017

By the results of the year 2017, the agri-industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) is the major producer of meat in Ukraine.
The market share of MHP is 45.5 percent, which exceeds the Agromars Complex share by more than 5 times.
The top 5 meat producers are as follows:
- MHP — 45.5 percent;
- Agromars Complex — 8.6 percent;
- APK-Invest — 5.1 percent;
- Agro-Oven — 4 percent;
- Dneprovsky Poultry Complex — 4 percent.
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in 2017 the manufacturers-processors produced 990 thou. tons of fresh, chilled and frozen poultry meat.
This is the best result since 2003. Over the past 15 years, the production of poultry meat in Ukraine has increased almost 6-fold.
