Ukraine imposed sanctions against Russian fertilizer producers

Ukraine imposed sanctions against Fosagro, EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Company, United Chemical Company Uralchem and a number of other major Russian producers of mineral fertilizers for 3 years.

This is stated in Presidential Decree No. 126, which introduces special economic and other restrictive measures against a number of legal entities and physical persons, Ukrainian News informs.

Sanctions are imposed for three years in the form of assets blocking, trade operations restricting, preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine, stopping the fulfilment of economic and financial obligations, as well as a ban on public procurement.

Similar sanctions were imposed against Nevynnomyssky Azot, Novomoskovsk Azot, Apatit, a subsidiary of Agrocenter Eurochem Ukraine, Agrocenter Ukraine, Phosagro-Ukraine and Dorogobuzh.

Earlier it was reported that EuroChem Group had announced the sale of its subsidiary in Ukraine. The price and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
