Wheat exports in Jan-Apr dropped to 4.05 MT

In January-April 2018, Ukraine exported 4.05 million tons of wheat for the amount of USD 707.35 million, which is 0.26 million tons less than over the corresponding period in the year 2017.
According to the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS), the major importers of Ukrainian wheat in the reported period are Morocco (USD 120.7 million), Spain (USD 85.2 million) and Tunisia (USD 67.6 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 690.92 thou. tons, 487.73 thou. tons and 386.5 thou. tons, respectively.
Reference: the main importers of Ukrainian wheat in Jan-Apr 2017 were Egypt, India and Morocco.
