In 2018/19 NIBULON to transport 4 MT of agricultural produce on the river — Vadatursky

In 2018/19, the NIBULON company plans to transport 4 million tons of agricultural produce on the river. This was informed by the founder and CEO of NIBULON Alexei Vadatursky during the press-conference on LIGA.net.

"In 2018, the company transports 2.5 million tons of agricultural produce on the river, and the next year we plan to transport 4 million tons. This figure is equivalent to saving UAH 3.6 billion on highway repair works," he stressed.

Alexei Vadatursky added that NIBULON is interested in alternative ways of transporting grain, rather than by roads.

"We are accused of ruining all roads in Ukraine. This is due to the fact that we, unlike many other market players, put the name of our company on the cars, so people think that Vadatursky ruins the roads. At the same time, I remind you that we have 100 trucks, while there are more than half a million in total in Ukraine. I, like no one else, am interested in getting everyone switched to river transport. Although suspect that later certarin people will tell that NIBULON lobbied the law, so that they cannot transport by road," the CEO of the company summed up.
