Beef exports from Ukraine exceed 20k tons in Jan-Jul 2018

Exports of frozen and chilled beef in January-July 2018 amounted to 20.79 thou. tons.

The State Fiscal Sevice of Ukraine (SFSU) reports that the volume of frozen beef export stands at 13.79 thou. tons (worth of USD 43.25 million), and chilled beef — 7 thou. tons (worth of USD 19.86 million).

The frozen beef was exported to Kazakhstan (3.93 thou. tons), Azerbaijan (3.03 thou. tons) and Belarus (2.61 thou. tons).

Ukraine exported 6.94 thou. tons (99.16%) of fresh or chilled beef to Belarus for the amount of USD 19.69 million.

Reference: Ukraine in January-June 2018 exported 1.09 thou. tons of pork for USD 2.48 million, which accounts for 22.1% of the total volume of 2017.
