Cargill and M.V. Cargo grain terminal in Yuzhny sea trading port (Odessa region) is 85% complete. More than 600 contractors and suppliers are involved in its construction.

"At present, we are implementing the second phase of the project and are engaged in various types of work — from foundation works and metal structures construction to installation of process equipment, installation of power supply networks and automation. And all this is carried out simultaneously," the company notes.

The terminal is equipped with GSI silos, HiRoller and InterSystems transport equipment. Buhler equipment will be used for grain cleaning, and Bonfanti — for drying. The ship loader manufactured in Italy — Golfetto Sangati, will be installed.

The terminal has its own railway infrastructure, which will help ensure well-organized and reliable logistics.

"The motor transport unloading station is capable of passing 790 vehicles a day, the station for unloading wagons — 256 cars per day. It provides for the storage of 290 thou. tons. It is an excellent indicator by Ukrainian standards," says Jesper Pedersen, General Manager at M.V. Cargo.

Previously it was reported that TIS loaded 47.43 thou. tons of sunflower oil into the 183-meter tanker Green Hellas.
