A new sugar production season has started in Ukraine. Five sugar refineries started the production season 2018/19, Ukrsugar informs.
The season of sugar refining officially started on August 31.
On August 31, the Green Valley Agrocomplex started the production of sugar, September 1 — the FC Podillya (Kryzhopil Sugar Refinery), Tsukoragroprom (the branch of Yaresky Sugar Refinery), Lanna Sugar Mill, and September 3 — Tsukoragroprom, Zhdanov Sugar Plant.
Reference: the major sugar producers of 2017/18 are Astarta-Kyiv, Radekhovsky Sugar and UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO.
