Tomato shipments in Jan-Aug decreased 30%

In January-August 2018, Ukraine exported 8.22 thou. tons of tomatoes for the amount of USD 6.65 million. This indicator is 30% lower y-o-y.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU) informs that the major importers of Ukrainian tomatoes in the indicated period are as follows:

• Belarus — USD 4.98 million (62.4 thou. tons);
• Poland — USD 1.43 million (1.79 thou. tons);
• Moldova — USD 68 thou. (85.5 tons).

The foreign trade turnover of agrarian produce between Ukraine and the EU countries in January-July 2018 increased by 4.4% and amounted to almost USD 4.6 billion.
