Gnidava plant produced organic sugar

For the first time in Ukraine, Deddens Agro and Ritter Bio Agro companies manufactured certified organic sugar from organic sugar beets of their own production.

Gnidava sugar refinery, where organic sugar beet was processed, reported.

Both organic sugar beet and sugar were certified by Organic Standart.

According to the director general of the plant Viktor Shcherbachuk, the enterprise team has been working on this result since 2013, when an organic enterprise was founded. He also noted that in terms of the amount of the produced organic product, Deddens Agro and Ritter Bio Agro hold the third position in the world.

As previously reported, Deddens Agro and Ritter Bio Agro produced the first organic sugar beet in Ukraine and certified the manufactured produce as organic.
