Shipments of Ukrainian oilseeds up 30 pct in January

In January 2019, Ukraine exported 465 thou. tons of oilseeds, 30 pct higher from the previous month, the APK-Inform consultancy.
The increase in shipments total volume is a result of the rapid growth of rapeseed exports from 78 thou. tons in December 2018 to 150 thou. tons in January 2019.
In September-January MY2018/19, Ukraine exported about 2.5 million tons of oilseeds, 600 thou. tons less than in the corresponding period of the previous season.
Oil World experts project the global oilseed production in MY2018/19 at the level of 586.4 million tons, 21 million tons more from the previous season.
