TIS-Grain leads the top grain transshipment terminals in 2018

TIS-Grain heads the rating of the largest storage capacity sea terminals in Ukraine with 460 thousand tons of transshipment volume in 2018, Elevatorist.com reports.

The Sea Specialized Port Nika-Teraa structural division of Group DF, holds the second position with a 335 thousand tons storage capacity.

M.V. Cargo grain terminals are ranked third with 290 thousand tons.

The TOP-10 sea grain transshipment terminals in 2018 are as follows:

  1. TIS-Grain (Pivdenny port, Odesa region) — 460 thou. tons;
  2. SSP Nika-Tera (Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region) — 335 thou. tons;
  3. M.V. Cargo (Pivdenny port, Odesa region) — 290 thou. tons;
  4. Illiechevsk Grain Terminal (Chernomorsk port, Odesa region) — 257.6 thou. tons;
  5. Ukrelevatorprom (Odesa port, Odesa region) — 206.4 thou. tons;
  6. Transbulkterminal (Kernel subsidiary in Chernomorsk port, Odesa region) — 190 thou. tons;
  7. Brooklyn-Kyiv (Odesa port, Odesa region) — 181 thou. tons;
  8. Olimpex Coupe International (Odesa port, Odesa region) — 180 thou. tons;
  9. Nika-Tera Grain Terminal (Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region) — 180 thou. tons;
  10. NIBULON transshipment terminal (Mykolaiv port, Mykolaiv region) — 172.6 thou. tons.

The gross income of the port industry in 2018 reached USD 1,7 billion accounting for 2 per cent of the country's GDP.
