UAE preserve dominance in Ukrainian egg exports

In January-June 2019, Ukraine exported to the U.A.E. 19.64 thou. tons of chicken eggs for the amount of USD 16.38 million.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that the key importers in the reporting period are as follows:

• the U.A.E. — 19.64 thou. tons, USD 16.38 million;
• Iraq — 15.92 thou. tons, USD 13.27 million;
• the British Virgin Islands — 7.68 thou. tons, USD 6.4 million;
• others — 32.19 thou. tons, USD 26.83 million.

In the first half of 2019, Ukrainian egg producers exported 75.43 thou. tons of eggs. This indicator is 1.7x higher from 2018. (44.47 thou. tons).

In monetary terms, egg exports stood at USD 62.88 million compared to USD 39.99 million in January-June 2018.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine and the Republic of North Macedonia had agreed on the form of the Health Certificate for poultry eggs supply.
