Harvest Online 2019: new crop exceeded 23 million tons

By July 22nd, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 6.6 million hectares or 68%. The crop reached 23.5 million tons.

According to the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 16.9 million tons on 4.5 million hectares or 68% yielding 3.76 t/ha;
  • barley — 6 million tons on 1.8 million hectares or 73% yielding 3.23 t/ha;
  • peas — 549 thou. tons on 242 thou. hectares or 86% yielding 2.27 t/ha;
  • rye — 42 thou. tons on 16 thou. hectares or 14% yielding 2.57 t/ha;
  • oats — 20 thou. tons on 9 thou. hectares or 5% yielding 2.6 t/ha;
  • winter rapeseed — 2.6 million tons on 1.1 million hectares or 83% yielding of 2.39 t/ha.
